On the “Render” field select “Stems (Selected Tracks)”. On the “Render Bounds” section select “Time Selection”. Under the “Output” section, on the “Directory” field, click on “Browse”, “Browse for directory” and create a new folder where you want Reaper to put your exported files.
Hi Everyone,
I've been using Reaper to do a rough mastering job on an album I've recorded over the past few months, and would like to burn the final results onto some CDs. I'm dealing with WAV files, which I've loaded onto the project timeline and separated with numbered markers (e.g. '#3') to indicate the gaps between tracks.
However, having rendered the entire project as specified in the Reaper User Guide and seen the CD Audio Image displayed before me as I do so, when I click 'Burn CD' at the next pop-up, nothing happens - no error message or incompatibility issue; it's completely unresponsive. For the method 'Native CD Burning' is selected and for the drive 'HL-DT-ST DVDRW GS23N', and for both of these fields there are no other options available. I'm using Maxell CD-R XL-II 80 CDs.
Do I need an external CD burner to complete the job? I've looked elsewhere on the forum and read that Reaper is capable of covering the whole process so I'm a little confused! I'm using v.3.76 in case this makes any difference.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi so every time I render a finished project, I end up with the file I want(the regular wav. of the finished song) but I also end up with a million other files that are individual wav and reapeaks files for each individual track in my project. This annoys me to no end and I’m way too stupid to get rid of it. Is there a way to render my project so that I only end with the one wav. file I need containing the whole song? Or even a creative way to hide all the junk files so I don’t have to spend half an hour scrolling while I look for the project I’m working on? Thanks!
